| Sifu Mark has been training under the guidance of Sifu Dave Carnell and Sifu Cass Magda since 1997, and has been teaching since 2001. In 2006 he took the leap of faith and left his fulltime job to fulfil his dream and open up a full time professional martial arts academy in Manchester.
He has had professional MMA fights, Full Contact stick fights, and more recently has had great success at the Call 2 Arms low armour stick fighting events. In 2011 he became the Bronze medalist in the IBJJF European Championships. He has also trained up fighters who have also competed in various events, including MMA fights, stick fighting tournaments, and Call 2 Arms. In 2011 one of his students became the Gold medalist at the UMA British Open No Gi Championships. His interests outside of the Impact Curriculum include Boxing, Wrestling, Thai Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Yoga Sports Science. In September Mark also became a qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner and likes to use this to help his students achieve. During his time he has been exposed to, and trained with a wide variety of talented martial artists, including many of Bruce Lee's first Generation students, Professional Boxers and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts.
